AWARD BANQUET: Chairs were absent for final report. Attendance 63 adults & 4 children with total income received $1,768.00 – Expenses were $1,890.82 so we still have deficit of $122.82 even with donation of $500 secured by John Rath.  Ideas were shared for future success. Want to keep dinner & perhaps raise cost by $2 to $3 ($27 suggested for 2007). Increased donations & additional contributions will be important. Agreed this is not a fundraiser but a ceremony/mass to honor adult volunteers. Consensus is to keep function as is & table discussions for now to get feedback of 2 chairs.

BAY LAKES REPORT:                                                                 Mike Moegenburg

                              Working on web site draft. New site will list (email addresses) counselors trained to work w/boys. Will be approx.  $150 per year cost.  Girl Scouts are included.  Contact will be Marie Grevsmuehl at Archdiocese.  Mark can give web address.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY REPORT:                                                Bob McWilliam

                             Bob reported that he has three new members to add to the Catholic Committee from Milwaukee County Council.  He will have each district represented=more medals for the kids and closer communication.

POTAWATOMI REPORT:                                                           Denise DeDomineces

Denise updated CC roster- Has a representative from each of 4 districts. Waukesha Scout Expo (5 star Exhibition) is coming up shortly.  The retreat will be at St. Williams in 2007 – No set date yet.  Committee will select new retreat location for 2008.  Want St. Johns Cathedral & Archbishop Dolan for Teen Award Reception

 SOUTH EAST REPORT:                                                             Susan Enders & Tom Stenson

                              Both Tom and Susan are new Catholic Committee members.  They come from different districts – Both SE    Districts are fully represented and we become a quality committee once again.

  REGIONAL REPORT:                                                                 Bob Freville

                              Ad Altare Dei in process of total rewriting. Needs updating to modern day youth relevance but remain spiritual.  

                              At the Louisville 2008 Conference, National Committee on Catholic Scouting will have Power Point ready for training.   Will also be available in a self taught web base.  Philmont will conduct session on July 16, 2006 for adults to run Spiritual Training Course. A letter was sent to Chairman, Jack Weigel.

Vice Chair:  Jacquie Gozdowiak Training Chair:  Mike Moegenburg;  Religious Activity Chair: Denise DeDominces;  Emblems Chair:  Walter Welzen;  Communications Chair: Bill Thorn;  Secretary Treasure:  JoAnne Schelwat;  Membership Chair:  Bob McWilliam will work on & have Rep at next meeting;  Vocations Chair:  Father Mark Niehaus & Deacon Sy Regan;
