Ad Altare Dei

Pope Pius XII 
 
    The Catholic committee on Scouting would like to present a Catholic Religious Emblem Program to the Gateway District Scouts.
   
    Eligibility Requirements:
   
    Ad Altare Dei: Any Scout who is Catholic, has been a registered member of Boy Scouts for at least six months, and has completed the 6th grade.(Any Scout up to the age of 19 years of age or until graduation from high school can earn the Ad Altare Dei).
 
    Pope Pius XII: Any registered Catholic youth member of the Boy Scouts of America (Learning for Life members are not eligible) Male or female, who has started the 9th grade, may work on and complete the Pope Pius XII Religious Emblem. Adults (21 and over) are not eligible to earn the Pope Pius XII Emblem.
 
    Where: St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church

    When: The classes will run one day a month from September 2007 to May 2008.
               With a Church Ceremony on June 8, 2008 at St. Therese Church 8:30a.m. Mass
    Time & days:  9/24/07, 10/15/07, 11/19/07, 12/17/07, 1/21/08, 2/18/08, 3/17/08,
       4/21/08, 5/12/08, 6/8/08 
    Retreat: To be announced 
    Cost: The cost of the workbook and Religious Emblem. Total $17.75 
    Registration: To make a reservations, send check to Alan Zahn 11262 3rd Ave. Pleasant Prairie, WI. 53158. Include name, Telephone number, Troop number, e-mail address, and indicate which course you will be taking. Ad Altare Dei or Pope Pius XII.
    The cost for the program includes $3.75for the workbook and $14.00 for the Religious Emblems Medal.
    Must be registered no later than September 1, 2007 so we can have the necessary workbooks available for the first day of class.
    Or, you may purchase the book yourself at the Scout office if signing in after September first.
